Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED
First Aid Description:
This is a two-year certification course accredited by the American Heart Association. First Aid provides instructions on injury prevention, airway management, bleeding control and treatment of shock. It also provides instructions on allergic reaction, fracture and stabilizing a patient. The First Aid curriculum is approved by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and California Occupational Safety & Health (CALOSHA).

HeartSaver CPR with the use of an Automated External Defibrillation
(AED). The course
includes the basic principles of airway, breathing and circulation
management for the unresponsive adult, child and infant.
The course offers instruction for relieving an obstructed
airway (choking) and the early warning signs of heart attack and
stroke. The course is

number of students per class. As
such, we expect you to keep your appointment.
Because the Weil Institute holds its weekly education courses
on Tuesdays only, to be
eligible for a refund you MUST cancel your course via phone
or e-mail no later than 4:30pm on Friday the week prior to
your scheduled class date.

the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
You will be eligible for a full refund minus
a small processing fee if you cancel earlier
than two business days. Students cancelling class up to two business days prior to their scheduled course date
will qualify for an 80% refund.
No refunds will be given for same-day
rescheduling or to students who arrive
later than 15 minutes from the course start time. No
call, No e-mail,
No show students
do not qualify for a refund of any kind.
The price of opened student manuals will be deducted from all
who cancel their class earlier
than two business days are eligible to reschedule their
class one time for an additional $5.00 processing fee.
Students who cancel their class up
to two business days prior to their scheduled course are
eligible to reschedule their class one time for an additional $10.00
processing fee. Students
with same-day cancellation, same-day
reschedule or students who arrive later
than 15 minutes from the course start time are eligible to
reschedule their class one time and will incur an additional $15.00
processing fee. All
processing fees MUST be paid at the time of rescheduling and students may
reschedule ONCE. Class MUST be
rescheduled within 30 days of their original reservation or all
monies will be forfeited.
